Any CIMBridge User on HP-UX Out There? | 11 December, 1997

If your a CIMBridge user with HP-UX as your operating system (like I am), I'm curious if your planning to go to Windows_NT, as Mitron is encouraging everyone to do? And if so, are you also getting the pricey "floating licenses" upgrade? If not, how are you acommodating "fixed" licenses at your facility? One more question, do you know of any other vendors who offer a CIMBridge-like product that you would if you could switch to?

I'd like to inform you that CIMBridge is a Mitron product, whom was recently bought by GenRad... UniCam is their competitor... | UniCam. Re: Check out CircuitCAM | 13 January, 1998

CircuitCAM is less customized than CIMBridge, however it was developed with the everyday tasks of a Manufacturing Engineer in mind, thus bringing the cost way down. Its automates virtually every step of board assembly from machine programming all the way to color-coded process documentation. The best part about it is its ease of us. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to use it like many other competitive packages. Download a demo off the web at www.aiscorp.com Dan
