Can some one provide information to rework ERICSSON bluetooth.

How to remove and place the bluetooth mounted on the PCB?

What type of equipment to use?

The bluetooth module is ROK 101 007.

The board and the module cannot damage.

Talking about the nice shining Rok 101007: Placement to be performed by forced convection reflow (in a controlled way) Be careful not to exceed 245 deg celcius, otherwise the internal radiomodule solderballs will collapse. Do not solder it upside down. do not apply sudden temp shock for there is ceramic used inside. The module is not designed to be disconnected, however, the best way is to heat up the board where the module is placed from the bottomside, (assuming there are no components in the way) and whenever the temp in the connection reached >180deg celcius the module will be released. Or heat the whole system above 180deg celcius, and release the module by picking the PCB (not the shields)

There is a socket designed for the module as well did you know? b.r. Arjan

Check out my web site "www.ape.com" I can remove the package from the board at 183c and never reflow the 90Pb/5ln/5Ag solder on the inner-connects. The unit you're looking for is the Chipmaster.
