Beat Detection controlling lights

From what I've seen all you guys know heaps, well I don't.

I've been trying to find how to make lights pulse in time with music or be triggered by an audio signal/input (sub-woofer).

If someone could suggest a site where I could find a schematic or turorial it would be great.
