I am looking for a software package that can provide me with a ballpark estimate of labor time required to assemble electro-mechanical products. The inputs that I imagine would include number and size of fasteners, number of wire connections, number of wire ends to lug, and estimated degrees of difficulty based on reach, movement, weight of components, etc. Thanks

If I understand your question: I've done this before by creating a spreadsheet in Excel. All the data you're looking for can be built into said spreadsheet. I don't think you'll find a "canned" package with the values without buying a bigg-ass prgram like MFG PRO, ProdStar, or SAP. Perform an elemental time study for all the electro-mechanical ops. then dump them into the spreadsheet and do your math functions.

Boothroyd and Dewhurst has DFA packages that are pretty good but are more for analyzing one design to an alternate design vs giving good times for your particular site, etc. You can find their site on the WEB.
