Dear Adam, Yes, today certain companies are still using this cleaning technic to clean assembled PCB's. To be able to give you the right advise, I need to know what kind of fluxes are you using into your soldering processes and what level of cleanliness you want to obtain. Is ultrasonics allowed with your PCB's? Best rgrds, Daniel

tHANKS FOR THE RESPONSE GUYS. I'll be checking out those websites during the day Cal. With regards to youR response Daniel. All our soldering materials are Alphametal products and are RMA based. As much as we would like to use ultrasonics on all our products, one or two of our customers do not recommend we turn the ultrasonics on there products, as they say will affect relays and crystals on the pcb's. We work to IPC Class 3 as well as some customers own standards. All our products are then conformally coated.

Adam:

The last one I saw was in communist China back in '98. I have used Lenape machines with freon in the past but am using spray and ultrasonic cleaning techniques since the early 90's. I'm surprised to see someone asking about them!
