Let me guess, you are talking about a Siplace S15 or F3. The bearings around the sleeve could be dirty and create too much friction for the little turning motors to rotate the sleeve. What do you mean by parts missing? Are you saying components are not placed on the board?

The only part, which could cause component misplacement on the rotary heads of the Siplace machine is the vacuum valve. I dont know the official name in the part catalog, but I use to name it plunger. The plunger is moved in and out by a miniature stepper motor. The motor vendor refers to a Turbo stepper and indeed the motor is faster than a conventional solenoid. There are two different designs for the plunger. One made out aluminum with five O-rings and a plastic one with only one O-ring at the end. Im not an O-ring fan, particular when you consider reliability. I definitely recommend the use of the plastic plungers. Unfortunately, the lifetime of this plastic part is limited and dependent on the air quality, should be replaced frequently. If the plunger is worn out, the vacuum on the nozzle decreases, as well as the airflow to release the component. Check the vacuum in the pick position. If you keep on having problems even with a new set of plastic plungers, check if you can narrow the problem down to one or two segments and replace the entire valve on these segments. If, by any chance, you got water into the air system, indicated by discolored mufflers, you will have to take the heads off the machine and clean them entirely.

MR/MADANM STEFAN ,WE USE A PLASTIC PLUNGE.WE REPLACE THEM THREE MONTH.WHEN PART MISSED,WE CHECK THE VACUUM ,IT IS OK. IT IS ONE OR TWO SEGMENTS WHICH CAUSE PART MISSING.WE REPLACE A PLUNGER ,IT IS NOT OK.WHEN REPLACE A SLEEVE .IT IS OK.WE CHECK THE SLEEVE ,WE FOUND BEARING UP AND DOWN WITH SOUND "KA,KA",I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SLEEVE

hi Liang, We had the same problem like you before, it happened during starts up the machine (S13) and run the production for the first or second board. We also replaced the 2/2-way microvalve of placement circuit. The problem had solved at the begining, but it happened again later. So we run the procedure of Adjustment of the placement circuit of SITEST program to want up the valve before the normal production, the problem no longer happen yet. hope this can give you for reference. By the way. You wrote "WE FOUND BEARING UP AND DOWN WITH SOUND "KA,KA"", you meant that you can hear the sound from the SZ axis when it is up and down?
