Necessity of NO2 Generator ??????

Morning all, can anyone point me in the right direction. Recently our NO2 generator (bought before I was here) for our IC parts cabinets went bad. It will cost around $6000 to replace. I am just looking for some tech papers or anything to help substantiate the cost of this to upper management. What does everyone else use in their parts cabinets??
