Michael -

Hello, you may also want to consider Panasonic

JV - jumper (variable insertion pitch) - excellet machine AX - axial (fixed 5mm insertion pitch) - excellent machine AV - axial (variable insertion pitch) - fair machine RH - radial (various models) - excellent (avoid RHS & RHU models)

Marty

Michael-

Although I'm a Pansonic guy at heart I would suggest Universal equipment for your needs. Machines are plentiful and the number of support people and companies that are servicing them are much more numerous than Panasonic. Send me a private e-mail and I can put you in touch with some good companies that sell these machines used.

Dear Michael

Usually the equipment you need is:

Universal Instruments 6772 Multi Mod IC Inserter.

Universal Axial Inserter either a combination unit or 2 stand alone units one that sequences the parts and one that inserts them.

Universal Instruments Radial Lead Inserter

There are various models and various prices if you'd like more information let me know.
