Is there a way to program off Line an orion PHILIPS smt machine ?

Miguel,

Ask your Philips salesman or local representative for a copy of the VIOS software configured to run on a stand-alone PC AND a hardware key. With this software, you are basically programming your machine at your desk as long as you have CAD data or some other source of X-Y centroids.

Philips would not let loose of the standalone VIOS when I asked but they do have offline programming software. I was running the OS2 version but there was supposed to be a NT version coming out last year.

The best offline software I have come in contact with is CircuitCam. Go online at www.aiscorp.com or send an email to jspera@aiscorp.com

You can use cad, a scanned image, D256 data or gerber files. Check them out.
