Electrovert Bravo 8105 Cooling Zone Chiller

Hi Everyone. Are many of you using Bravo 8105 reflow ovens with chiller units?

What have your experience been like with them. Are they reliable?

If you had the choice would you get another?

Is having them an advantage with lead free production?

Our oven is set up for Nitrogen, but we use it with air only. Should we be considering removing the radiators and putting in the normal Air cooling zone? We are currently using factory water supply through the cooling radiators, and are considering the Chiller to make the system closed loop.

Hi Mike,

We mainly use chillers for the operators - we build a lot of thick & palletised boards that retain the heat. Having a chiller means we can pick the board up earlier after the oven & it's cooler. With leadfree you will have higher temperatures so the boards will be coming out hotter. Will this cause you a problem?

Rob.
