high any one know how to convert sizes like 0805 to milimeters.

0805 is 80 thou by 50 thou.

As there are 40 thou per mm, this is therefore a device which is 2mm by 1.25mm, i.e., a 2125

Simply go to Practical Components website and look in their catalogs. They give sizes in standard and metric.

That would be a 2012 (2.0mm x 1.2mm) in accordance with standardized naming convention.
