As Ioan says,These components usually come in tubes rather than trays. I can understand why you might want to do this because I have one very low volume but complicated board that has seven programmable PLCCs that I just don't have room for on the machine. I constructed a custom 7 X 15 tray that the machine recognizes as 7 individual 1 X 15 trays to place these items. For whatever reason you might want to try this you might contact Practical Components at 714/899-8309 www.practicalcomponents.com. They market a line of adjustable matrix trays that might fit your need. good luck John Thorup

BTW... a PLCC44 fits nicely in a TQFP 14x14MM (80 pin) tray.
