What kind of volume and what kind of complexity? I know a few lead wire houses that are low cost and do a good job. We do a lot of cables. We dont do harnesses. Most of this type of work has gone to Mexico. Give me a better idea of your requirements and I may be able to help more. I was in that field for about 8 years. We only do it in house now to support PCB customers that cant find a source.

Discrete wiring and flat ribbon cabling. Fairly simple cables (connectors include: DF-11, IDC, D-SUB), proper crimping is probably the most difficult concept. But unfortunately is often overlooked.
