Hi We came across a Mydata pick & place TP9 1993 model, We are looking for more infomation on this Model. ie :- Component sizes(From - Too ), centering device For this age machine are they any good. Thx

Hi,

They are ok for very low volume work, and use a single place head with limited component size, however they will do most parts. The good thing is the feeders are identical to the latest machines, so you can keep feeders if you upgrade. They work well, but just for low volume. But they are available second hand at very low cost, so a good choice, and can be upgraded with the computer, so you can get them fairly current.

On the second hand market, you get a lot for your money with a TP9.
