BGA Inspection | 17 October, 1999

I would like a name of a facility that will x-ray BGA's. We do not at this time have a way of doing inspections of a BGA. Any help in locating said facility will be appreciated. Thank you Barb

Try Precision PCB Services in Santa Clara, CA. They perform BGA component rework and X Ray inspection using the latest models of SRT and Nicolet Systems.

A search of this forum will reveal the names of a number of providers of this service. If you are in process development, you can rent an X-ray machine from Glenbrook Technologies by the week. (<$1000.)

You can contact Circuit Technology Center. This company offers BGA rework services and BGA X-ray services using a Nicolet X-ray system. You can get a little more info from web site http://www.circuitnet.com/catalog/remove1.htm

Business Electronics Soldering Technologies, Inc. (BEST) performs BGA Inspection and Rework out of their Chicago facility. They also offer next day turn.
