SPC on Chip Placement Machines

Hi All,

Does any one out there have SPC control on Chip placement Machines? I was wondering what type of parameters we can monitor. We have Siplace here equip with SEC-GEM and a monitoring software. Just curious if anyone has done SPC on Chip placement Machine .

Just curious if anyone has done SPC on Chip placement Machine . | | Thanks | Bach Huss | Bach, As of yet I have not seen a company that does not implement SPC on Chip placement machines for one thing or another. Some companies monitor machine status to mold their maintanance schedules around. Others uses it to aid in Programming efficincy. There is so many uses for this information It is hard to keep up with the outbreaks of bigger and better software designed to compile it for you. For the most part this is a standard feature appearing in Placement equipment. It is even becoming commonplace for Customers to have access to your Monitoring software. Even if you do not want to invest the time and money for the best and brightest software on the market, It is a worth while investment to buy a smaller version that can be used by the people on the manufacturing floor. If nothing more, it is an invaluable troubleshooting tool.

As Siplace user you probebly know the MaDaMaS softwer in your line computer ,The softwer option MaDaMaX from the company DIPLAN Grmany includes data collection and kind of SPC ,it is possible to export the data to excel.
