| | Does any one have any idea which is usualy more expensive, to get components on Reels or in Trays ( I mean large components ofcourse). | | What is price diffrence percentage ? | | | | practicaly, is one method is prefered to the other? | | | | Thanks alot for your help. | | Mohammed | | | I've heard that question regarding reels and tubes but not reels and trays. Typically, anything that is in a tray is there for a reason - fine leads on 4 sides, large size fine leads 2 sides, etc. Putting these devices in a reel would damage lead coplanarity, price is not the issue but part protection. If the vendor specifies trays, don't have them put in reels. | | Hope this helps, | Scott | | I agree with Scott...Another thing to look at is. What package will give your best cycle times? Even if you you have the option of Tray/reel..You need to weigh what benefits your product output, without damaging components etc.. Kevin....
