Wavesolder conveyors

Anyone having any conveyor rail shaking on Electrovert wavesolder machine model "Electra"? The conveyor shakes more with a pallet passing through the machine, particularly when the 20" pallet is passing from spray fluxer to the first pre-heater. Here's what was tried: Rail width cal., new conveyor chains, motor amp checks (loaded & unloaded). Thanks, Bob

Sure sounds like a mechanical bind to me. The clue for me is the heavier mass being transported with a pallet. Sounds like flux entrapment in the extrusions from the spray fluxer. When you replaced the chains, did you do a good job of cleaning and lubing the extrusions with high temp lube (i.e. magnalube)?
