I am looking for information on any Gage R&R studies for the CyberOptics LSM solder paste inspection system. If you are a current user of one of these systems, are you finding any problems with the repeatability due to operator variation? What issues are you seeing as the result. Any input is greatly appreciated. Steve ASC Int'l

Although I was not directly involved here are some of the rumblings I heard. 1) Big variance from operator to operator to the point the spec range was completely used up. 2) A software and hardware package was purchased that automatically calculated the Solder height and updated SPC charts. Contact Cyberoptics they should be able to supply the contact information for the software company. Mike C
