Bench Top Convection Oven to Reball BGAs | 12 October, 2000

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of a Small Bench Top Convection Oven that could be used to reball BGAs? Right now we use Winslow Preforms and an Air-Vac DRS24 or our reflow ovens, but this ties them up too much and I'd like to keep reballing seperate from the other processes.

Try these: APS has two. seemingly not shown on website but in Contact East catalog www.apsgold.com/www.contacteast.com Manncorp has one by Esemtec www.manncorpdirect.com OK Industries division of Metcal used to make them. I'm not sure if they still do. Try the usual suspects in distribution as well. If you're having good results with the airvac, how about a less pricey hot air rework like APE chipmaster? www.apecorp.com
