We currently have openings for an Incoming Quality Technician, this individual would perform routine and/or repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, or methods. This position will partner with Program Managers, Manufacturing, Quality Director and other team members on a daily basis to ensure we are delivering the highest quality products to our customers
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized
Solid understanding of Quality/ Incoming inspection and will be responsible for the tasks associated with this role.
Creates/Prepares/Performs First Article inspections on applicable assemblies and projects IAW AS9102 (AS9100). Will require frequent interactions with customer Supplier Quality Managers (SQM).
Utilize schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings to perform work.
Use of hand tools such as measuring equipment. gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules).
Using computers, software (such as MS Office as well as other production software) and other technologies to perform work.
Maintains organized physical and electronic records, generate reports or provide data to support Engineers, Program Managers and other team members in their reporting responsibilities.
Perform continuity and power testing for the tasks associated with this role.
Inspect soldered materials or components in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-620 or ability to be trained.
Responsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas and to practice Good Housekeeping skills.
Deploy sound inventory control methods and procedures. This will include being able to allocate materials to work orders, incoming inspection assistance, and ability to issue inventory in MRP, if applicable.
May be required to handle, mix and test hazardous chemicals with the use of any required PPE and following all safety guidelines required to handle such materials.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to use computers, software (MS Office and other production related programs), and technology.
Must be able to work onsite (this is not a remote position), at our facility located in Plaistow NH and be able to, based on business conditions work overtime.
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics, wire diagrams, and mechanical drawings
Ability to perform basic mathematics, fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales.
Professional quality certifications (such as ASQ CST or ASQ CQI) are preferred
Experience with electronic manufacturing and ISO9001:2008 or AS9100 Certified Manufacturing preferred as well.
Working Hours are Monday-Thursday, day shifts of 9 hours per day. Fridays 1/2 days.
