SMT Operator

Summary

The SMT Machine Operator assembles electronics according to written manufacturing instructions and product specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requires mechanical reasoning and ability to work on/with the automated equipment
Relies on written and verbal instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Works under general supervision
Must have the ability to work within a team environment and assist others for the common goal
Reports to team lead
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
This position is full time 2nd shift and does not require supervisory responsibility

High school diploma

One to three years experience working with automated SMT equipment
