Job Description:

Leads a team of professionals (these individuals have dotted-line reporting to the program manager, and direct-line reporting to their functional manager) called a Customer Focus Team, consisting of project engineers, buyers, production control planners, test engineers and production management, to ensure that customer delivery targets are met. The program manager has profit and loss responsibility for their assigned program, and because of this must have a strong understanding of finance. The program manager coordinates and tracks all activities for their designated customer, including order management, schedule changes, contract negotiation, operations management and program monitoring, through their own efforts and those of the Customer Focus Team to establish quality standards and strategies to support the customer. Analyzes sales forecasts and build schedules to support sales and ensure proper inventory levels. Directs product flow to meet ship schedules and monitors MRP, manufacturing planning, documentation, inventory control and test schedules. Main Solectron point of contact for the customer. Requirements include the following: � Excellent leadership, management, coordination and negotiation skills, business acumen. � Minimum of 5 years professional experience, in customer program management, supply chain management, or similar related function. � Engineering or Business degree, or both (MBA a plus) � Strong financial orientation
