Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics
Are you an SMT "SME?" (Subject Matter Expert)
We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in our busy, growing Electronics department. This job will be fast-paced and offer challenge and variety. Duties will consist of the following:
Daily Execution
Act as the technical expert for our 3 Universal SMT machines, testing, and secondary operations
Develop and optimize processes that yield high quality, cost effective daily execution
Active and aggressive daily problem solving surrounding our top priorities - Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Process and People Development
Ensure proper line design and material flow, demonstrating capability and capacity management
Work collaboratively with our New Product Development team of engineers to ensure a smooth transition to production
Develop and optimize standard work
Continuous Improvement
Ensure zone goals are met thru use of Metric, Pareto and Action
Lead problem solving and process improvement thru PDCA, Kaizen events, with a focus on creativity before capital
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and other technical certifications
3-5 years of hands-on process and technical support experience
