Job Description: |
Act as a response center engineer to work with customers of Tecnomatix-Unicam products. Resolve problems over the telephone or on site as necessary. Travel to customer sites is required. Act as a local expert for Tecnomatix-Unicam product lines. Configure new software installations and prepare software upgrade releases. Install and train new customers. Provide advanced training to existing customers
Prepare scripts and batch programs to automate Tecnomatix-Unicam software procedures. Test software bugs, and report bugs to headquarters. Maintain database of outstanding bugs. Participate in evaluation of new products. Write reports and document bugs, problems, and suggestions for improvement. Evaluate third party software and hardware for use with Tecnomatix-Unicam systems. 50% travel required.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years experience in a PCB environment, including SMT
Working knowledge of Windows 95/NT
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in programming automated equipment a plus
