VJ Electronix proudly offers the Summit 1800 within the SRT Series. The Summit 1800 Automated Rework system developed by SRT and further refined by VJ Technologies, is the industry’s standard for Rework systems. The Summit 1800 provides the most advanced features designed specifically to address difficult Rework challenges.

Proprietary SierraMate™ Windows® based software provides an easy to use “1-2-3-Go” graphical user interface, featuring intuitive programming and Auto Profile. The 1800 is “production ready” with many standard features, providing a superior value.

The Summit 1800 represents the next logical step in Surface Mount Rework technology. It incorporates not only the well established features and benefits, common to all the Summit systems but introduces state-of the-art innovations to deal with the latest industry advancements including Lead Free capability. The well established unique features such as Advanced Auto Profile, Programmable Pick and Place Force with Component Height Sensing, Independent Top Heater and Pick-up Tube, Proprietary Split Imaging together with Precision Placement capability, Optical/Digital Zoom and Automated Data/Event Logging continue to satisfy the demanding requirements of the Electronics Assembly industry. However, larger and more complex components plus bigger PCBs require even greater functionality. The Summit 1800’s upgraded Optics and Thermal capabilities satisfy these demands.

A variety of optional features such as High Power (2.4 kW) Top Heater, Solder Scavenging with Programmable Motorized X-Y Table, 22” x 30” Board handling and 5.6 kW Bottom Heater are available to handle more challenging applications.
