Fortress ISM2000 Intelligent Management System Description:

The ISM2000 Fortress is the newest and largest of the ISM family that guarantees to keep components safe while allowing for easy and intelligent management of component inventory. 

Designed for the optimal management of larger dimension reels, the Fortress offers the flexibility to support a combination of 7” reels from 8mm to 16mm in height, 13”/15” reels up to 24mm in height as well as JEDEC trays. The Fortress is designed using a patented multiple outlet system that allows for the simultaneous extraction and insertion of up to 27 reels at a time. The outlet system also supports the extraction of a single reel in quick fashion.

The Fortress supports an optional humidity control module that makes it possible to control and monitory humidity and maintain an internal environment with humidity of less than 5%. This makes it possible to store all sensitive components safely and using the software interface the life of each component can be monitored in terms of humidity.

The Fortress will trace all movements of the component and automatically calculate the exposure time beyond the set limits while notifying the operator and blocking the component if the maximum limit has been exceeded.

ISM - Intelligent Storage Management - Juki's new, high-capacity and intelligent storage systems.

With the new, innovative and space-saving ISM (Intelligent Storage Management) modules from Juki there’s a complete system combination for every storage requirement (ISM400, ISM1100 or ISM2000). All modules are entirely compatible with the Juki standard software IS and a link with the Juki traceability software IFS-NX guarantees an all around closed inventory management within the production.

The material flow improves enormously with this software package and thus the works in progress, the setup times and machine downtimes reduce considerably.

All the systems are low maintenance and maintenance friendly. They can be extended optionally to drying cabinets, whereby a fully controlled and safe environment for MSD components is established.
