Stronghold ISM400 Intelligent Management System Description:

The ISM400 Stronghold has been developed to support the storage needs of the most varied types of components. Capable of supporting up to 480 configurable positions, the ISM400 Stronghold can take 7/13/15" reels, JEDEC trays, MST and PTH tubes, screen printing frames and foils, printed circuits, PTH components and more! 

Equipped with luminous LED signals, the Stronghold will indicate the position of components to be extracted and by reading the code of the scanner will prevent the incorrect removal of components. For insertion of material, the operator has to simply read the code to be inserted and the system will give the position. The operator will still have the option of inserting the material in a different position if he or she so desires. By this way, the Stronghold offers a dynamic management of the positions so as to take advantage of the available space to reach a maximum capacity.

The Stronghold supports an optional humidity control module that makes it possible to control and monitory humidity and maintain an internal environment with humidity of less than 5%. This makes it possible to store all sensitive components safely and using the software interface the life of each component can be monitored in terms of humidity.

The Stronghold will trace all movements of the component and automatically calculate the exposure time beyond the set limits while notifying the operator and blocking the component if the maximum limit has been exceeded. It can also be equipped with electronic locks to allow only authorized persons access to components stored inside.

ISM - Intelligent Storage Management - Juki's new, high-capacity and intelligent storage systems.

With the new, innovative and space-saving ISM (Intelligent Storage Management) modules from Juki there’s a complete system combination for every storage requirement (ISM400, ISM1100 or ISM2000). All modules are entirely compatible with the Juki standard software IS and a link with the Juki traceability software IFS-NX guarantees an all around closed inventory management within the production.

The material flow improves enormously with this software package and thus the works in progress, the setup times and machine downtimes reduce considerably.

All the systems are low maintenance and maintenance friendly. They can be extended optionally to drying cabinets, whereby a fully controlled and safe environment for MSD components is established.
