CC1000 CMOS RF Transceiver Description:

Single-chip ultra low power CMOS RF Transceiver for the 315/433/868/915 MHz SRD Band. It has been specifically designed to comply with the most stringent demands of the low power radio market. The CC1000 operates from 2.1 - 3.6 V making it ideal for battery applications using single lithium 3 V coin cells. The current consumption is only 7.4 mA in receive mode and from only 4.5 mA (-20 dBm) to 23 mA (10 dBm) in transmit mode depending on the output power. In power-down mode, the CC1000 draws merely 0.2 �A, an important feature for battery applications. Chipcon's CC1000 is ideal for applications such as AMR (automatic meter reading), home automation, alarm and security, remote keyless entry, remote sensor reading, industrial control systems, advanced toys, game pads, joysticks and PDAs as well as for numerous digital audio and voice applications.
