Mechatronic systems D20/D40 are universal dispensing systems for automatic application of paste and liquids. An excellent price/performance ratio, solid construction, PC control and ease of operation make the D20/D40 ideally suited to frequently varying tasks in medium scale production lines. The systems can be equipped with different dispensing heads to suit the application. These are positioned by ball screw drives with encoder feedback. Hence the D20/D40 are able to achieve a positional accuracy of �� 0.070mm. In addition the use of screw dispensing heads, with servo motor drive, ensures that the systems achieve an optimal dispensing accuracy making them admirably suitable for fine pitch SMD requirements. A linear actuator lifts and lowers the dispensing head which uses an inductively controlled mechanical system for controlling the dispensing gap over the full working height range. Programming takes place on a PC using WINDOWS. Dispensing programs can be created using data converted from all common CAD formats (Gerber, ASCII). Any dispensing contours required for the x/y axis can be created using the graphical editor. An integrated vision system utilizes drawing software for automatic recognition and optical registration of the substrate and ensures a reliable, accurate, positioning of the dispensing position. The systems achieve a maximum dispensing rate of up to 15,000 dots/hour and can process boards up to a maximum size of 380 x 310 mm or 380 x 580 mm. See our complete product range at our web-site.
