The system is air nozzle free, provides instant and precise thermal controll via PDR's exclusive "One Touch" technology, is modular for easy upkeep, is full in-process control ready, is upgradeable and produces 100% yield BGA rework without any complications. 

The PDR IR-D3Vi provides Rework Technicians with extremely high levels of profiling and process control via PDR's ThermoActive Suite Plus Software. PDR's Award Winning Software "ThermoActive Suite Plus" software provides behind the scenes -  advanced algorithmic control over the rework process for day to day operations as well as automated profiling capability. PASTE - PLACE - REFLOW

With the aid of solid mechanics, parallax free vision systems (split beam), robust software, and process set-up instructions, operators can simply pick up the fluxed BGA from the nest, align it, place it onto the PCB pads, and then reflow  the component using  the system’s PC based, closed-loop Component and PCB temperature control.

Temperature Sensing - K type:  The PDR IR-D3Vi incorporates Non-Contact IR sensors made in the USA/Germany and are specified by PDR for accuracy and durablility when under themal stress. PDR sensors are manufactured with the highest quality lenses and internal electronics that are optimized for the rework environment.
