The ENGMATEC test handler is characterized by the wide-ranging spectrum of applications for in-circuit, functional or end tests. All components of the module system are matched with each other and can be combined with each other as well as with various production systems. Vision systems, scanners, marking systems and many other functions can be integrated.

The basis of the ENGMATEC test handler is a solid toggle lever press which can be equipped with a servo drive and also with pneumatic cylinders. The servo drive allows simultaneous contacting of up to 4080 test points at the same time on a maximum usable area of 400 x 400 mm. Depending on the requirements, the PCBs are contacted on one side, on both sides or in step for multiple panels.

Automatic fixture loading and belt width adjustment ensure short set-up times and universal use of the handler. The use of a PC-based control unit is as flexible as the option of installing the measuring electronics in the bottom area of the equipment.
An intelligent control concept and standardized interfaces ensure reliable function in any system configuration without changing the control unit.

The integration of reading stations, marking equipment, image processing systems and many other functions can be performed with fixtures as well as in the test handler.
