SelFlux-400 Inline Selective Flux Module Description:

SelFlux-400 is a single rail in-line selective spray fluxing machine with an individual controlling system. It is equipped with a X/Y servo table and spraying nozzle, flux is supplied by the use of a constant pressure tank, the nozzle’s travel path can be programmed with a PC. One uses a scanned picture of the subject PCB as background to draw the travel path. The conveyor system uses a Smema connector, and can connect to any other module at any position of the production line.

Specifications:

• An X-Y axis drive positions the PCB with ±0.02 mm accuracy for precise selective fluxing.
• The servo system provides for closed loop controlling, all servo motors and driver are originally from Japan.
• Ball screw and sliding rail are remote from flux which reduces maintenance and prolongs the equipment’s life span.
• We use an industrial PC for path encoding, Windows™ based software is used for online or offline programming.
• By the use of the subject PCB’s picture for background, one can draw the travel path easily.
• The inline transport system, can handle a maximum PCB of 400mm x 400mm (12” x 12”).
• Stepper motors are used for conveyor driving.
• Machine is equipped with a SMEMA connection; it’s flexible to form a production line with any other module.
• Input width is interfaced by touchscreen and adjustments are then automatic.
• The flux reservoir is a SUS pressure tank, the flux is always at the same pressure, flux performance is stable.
• Equipped with a filter at the flux tank, controls nozzle clogging.
• Ion fans are an option for use before the PCB enters the machine.
