J.W. Speaker

For over 45 years, J.W. Speaker has produced quality custom lighting systems for vehicular markets. Our number one goal is to add value to our clients’ products. We achieve this by utilizing the latest in state-of-the-art technologies including speed, cost, and innovation. Founded in 1935 by John W. Speaker, J.W. Speaker Corporation established itself as an innovator in the vehicle lighting markets. Armed with a long tradition of manufacturing and technical expertise, Speaker has consistently expanded its products, markets and capabilities.

The corporation initially served the automotive markets. Products included tire tube repair kits and automotive mirrors as well as specialty products including Heatab® miniature portable stoves and "GI" can openers (called "P38's" during WWII). In 1960, under the leadership of John's son Jack, the corporation shifted its focus to off-road vehicular lighting. Since then, J.W. Speaker Corporation has grown in its capacity to produce a wide variety of vehicle lighting products for other markets and equipment including agriculture, construction, heavy trucks, material handing, mining, motorcycle, recreation, marine and aviation.

Today, John's grandsons, Tim and Jamie Speaker manage the company. The corporation focuses on creating innovative designs that add value. Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies like HID, and LED, J.W. Speaker offers its clients total lighting solutions. Over the years the company has grown a great deal.

In March 2009, JW Speaker expanded into a new facility. The new facility is state-of-the-art, and allows for the future growth we are envisioning! JW Speaker continues to ensure a good reputation and manages its company brilliantly through trust, respect, urgency, discipline, simplicity and teamwork. Along with this, J.W. Speaker continues to live by their mission statement of: be the best, make money, and have fun!
