| Plastlist Carrier Tape& Reel® Cover Tape |
Cover tape is sealed to the carrier tape to hold the devices in the pockets. Plastlist Carrier Tape& Reel® offers a full range of heat activated and pressure sensitive cover tapes to deliver desired sealing results. Because most of surface-mount components need protection from ESD, we provide cover tapes with anti-static properties, creating an ESD-safe environment inside the pocket of the carrier tape.
Our cover tapes provide exceptional clarity for in-pocket lead inspection and the strength needed for high speed throughput. Cover tape is sealed on the surface of the carrier tape, either by heat or pressure, and secures the device within the carrier tape pocket. We offer ABS(heat seal, anti-static), PS (pressure seal, anti-static) and NS (heat seal). These tape & reel cover tapes are available in most industry standard widths, and are tested to with all carrier tape materials.

HHA233 is a static dissipative, heat-activated cover tape designed for sealing with polycarbonate conductive carriers. The loaded conductive material helps to perform a permanent and steady protection to the electrostatic sensitive devices.
