Smoltek offers a proprietary conductive nano-scale carbon technology tailored to support the future needs of the semiconductor industry.
Smoltek was founded in 2006 to develop and on a commercial basis offer licenses to its unique substrate based conductive nano-scale technology, primarily to the Semiconductor Industry.
The company bases its license offerings on its IP platform and accumulated knowledge on how to govern growth of tailored nanostructures, for example conductive Carbon Nanofibers (CNF). Smoltek also develops processes and recipes together with process tooling partners to ensure compliance with actual demands and process specifications of the semiconductor industry. Additionally Smoltek offers development services for customer specific evaluation and implementation of its unique technology in advanced Semiconductor packaging applications.
Smoltek is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, and utilizes the state of the art nanoscience research laboratory at Chalmers University of Technology.
