Which one have better coverage, easier adjustment product-by-product, easier handling: the fixed head or the reciprocating one?

Without any practice in spray fluxers, I think the reciprocating should be the better one, because even if the head haven't got uniform spraying pattern, the final result can be OK. But they may have some other pitfalls...

We will use it with water based flux.

Are you talking about wave soldering process? Are you talking about foam fluxer against spray fluxer? I think that almost all new machines are using spray fluxer that moves back and forth. If that is not the question, please specify.
