DEK 265 Horizon Servo Following Error | 13 December, 2017

We have a DEK 265 and we have fitted new belts to it after one split in use. when we set back up and run program A all is OK, when we go to run program B it has System Error. Servo Following Error - Fatal Error - Reinitialise machine.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Ray, Did you solve this problem? I am having same error on same model machine. My problem is, when camera axis moves to look at the first fiducial, camera hits to the cleaner and error comes up with rising table error, camera axis not home. Even log shows Servo following error for exis 0(Rising Table), 2(Camera X) and 3(Camera Y).

Any help?

Error is occurring during move to fiducial 1 position (from board stop position)? Or during move to board stop position (from park position)? What is error displaying onscreen? Did you also just replace belt(s)?

yes we resolved the engineer did not set the servo to zero so it did not know its datum start point.

John,

I just found out more detail. If my board stop position in x is bigger than 109mm, I get error from park position to board stop. This problem started after power loss. The error comes up system power down and after pressing system button "RISING TABLE ERROR" CAMERA NOT CLEAR OF TABLE, FATAL ERROR REINITIALISE MACHINE.

I already tried x and y motors, euro10 cards, verify voltage 5, -+12, 24.

Does camera move properly / not error out on camera cycling in diagnostics (with various fiducial positions)?

Check servo AC voltage (AC1>AC2 on MUX card).

Camera works fine from home to ref. position to fiducial1 and 2. Problem shows up from home to board stop.

AC voltage between AC1 and AC2 is 41.7 and during move it drops to 41.5.
