Mydata TP11 25VDC+ Rail not working | 19 March, 2020

We just brought a used TP11 having some problems the computer will no longer boot as the 25VDC+ line was reporting over voltage at 31+VDC If we hit enable 25VDC+ on the power unit card it blows the 38+VDC Fuse F8.

In circumstances like these immediately switch off and remove your power supply , I often build a test harness because the damage to an expensive and unique machine is not woth the trouble of shotgun repair. Dead resistors in the voltage sense rail. Shorted FET's. Current sensing reistors going low in value are all things to check. Also damage may have been done in the mschine due tothe overvoltage.
