Currently working through a myriad of air leaks on an old MPM Ap -b and have a question that hopefully one of you fine people may know the answer to. The camera vx and vy use linear rail motors. As far as I can tell, there are nozzles between the surfaces providing a cushion of air to enable smooth movement. My question is how much air loss should I experience from these. I can hear and feel the air quite distinctly around the magnets. Are they usually hissing away on fully working machinery or are they supposed to be pretty much silent ( in which case I've got more damn problems ). Thanks in advance
Rich
