Be very careful with rumors. MPM has bought SM-Tech. Quad and MPM now enjoy an excellent working relationship, but this is in the screen printer market not Quad's core SMT Assembly business.

My previous company bought several of the SMTech printers in April? or abouts and by July was talking to QUAD. Hehehe.

Yes MPM has interests in the Printer also, but to my knowledge Quad,Electrovert,MPM/Speedline, are all subsidiaries of Cookson. So they are all like divisions persay. Just like Dovertron, Broome County Engineering, Applied Conveyor Engineering, Universal, IRI International, and Vitronics are all owned by Dover.
