Hi Experts, Anybody know whatis the alternative to the PCBA's barcode, should you don't have a space on your highly populated PCBA ? This refer to the boards' serial number, be it for tracebility purposes or shopfloor data collection purposes. I hav

We are looking to automate the pick and place process when it comes to the barcode labels or license plates located on the component reels. Now, prior to pick and placement starting, the reel labels have to be scanned. I have been advised a Fuji CP

Hi, Try using or creating a simple data collection system using MS Access...Try this idea: operator inspects the board, then scans the PCB barcode. Then enters the fault found using the codes you are using in your sheet. It's a bit laborious but it

Like many other circuit assemblers we cross reference an incoming reel of components Manufacturers PN (MPN) to our company’s Internal Part number (IPN). For years I've been scanning the MPN & Qty on the manufacturers label and using a simple database

Hi Pro We are using the barcode system for checking MPN when we change the new component reel. My company have been using Microsoft access for showing this string. For each MPN we can change to IPN by this software. Ex: this is barcode data string o

Mydata has a software system that tracks component batch codes to production batch codes and even to serialized PCBs for military applications. This is done via bar-coding or manual data entry. The system also tracks component usage and can back-flus

After bar-coding or manual data entry the data is in the Mydata database. The data is not stored in the feeder but in the database. The database links the component data to a serialized feeder and to a PCB s/n or production batch code. The machine so

Software makes a huge difference. Try a different barcode reader app and see if you can find a better one. With data matrix the bar code can be mostly a bunch of blobs as long as the outside is reasonable good. Then the reader only needs a few pixels

I know this is not the appropriate forum for commercial content, but I wish to clarify how RFID technology is deployed within Cogiscan's solution. The most common configuration involves the attachment of an RFID tag to each Feeder (not to each Reel)
