Hello, yes you are absolutely correct. I agree with your point. Last week,I personally checked out my board on Heller 1088 which is a 8 zone reflow oven (4 on top and 4 on bottom) and the soldering came pretty nice. So comparing with that situation

Hello james I have been useing A heller 1809exl with the blower controls I have had some parts blowing off and adjusting the blowers to low did work for use just so you know that if you do get the option it has worked for use Good

Try lowering your blower speeds on the bottom zones. Works as well and lowering temps but easier to control than balancing your delta T from zone to zone.

I used to have the same issue with reed switches on one product we ran. Same oven too. We ended up rigging up an "umbrella" with two titanium stiffeners and bare PCB as the roof. It was hokey but it worked.

Good idea DWL, "Umbrella" thing works to solve this problem temporarily. But do you think it will cause any damage to hitter or heat zone?

Is your oven adjusted correctly for temperature > and blower and conveyor speed? As far as blower settings it only has a Hi-Mid-Low setting (is a heller 1809), and we have been working with all at Hi speed since line was started (1.5 year ago). Co
