Vincent, sorry I don't have the manual, we have XPM2 ovens, I got lucky on the password, Vitronics default.

If your parts are placing correctly you should be fine as far as calibration. As with all pick & place machines they need greased and filters changed. The maintenance should be in the manual. You can call dynatech they should be able to help you out.

There are only two (2), but the qty and size do not really prohibit hand soldering and we would still need to clean around their leads manually to meet the cleanliness spec.

Like jdengler says.....if he is manually teaching the placements and fiducials....he has to run through all the placements......if you are using cad data and fiducials to generate the program....then no.....you should check that the first few placeme

What options are available for reading in XY data and combining it with a BOM? Also, we need to generate XY locations manually from gerber data. I would prefer something with a hard lock dongle.

We bought a Vitronics reflow oven used. No fee to register. Support from Vitronics was very helpful and friendly. Machine is well made and works great. All manuals are on the computer that runs the oven.

It has very simple construction - there are two rubber o-rings which serve as a coupling. On ours, one was broken and after replacing it with a new one everything was as new. Just open the head and it will all be clear - it's very easy to fix. - Den
