It's prob better to ask them which machines they use, since you have a few extenstion for only 1 machine manifacturer. Also, it may be a CAD file and you have A LOT of different CAD extensions, so I think it's better to make it clear with that EMS co

I think it has something to do with the communication between the 2 computers. Plug a monitor into the back computer rack and see if there is an error showing when its trying to boot up. Its been a long time....so dont quote me....ha

The problem you create by soldering from solder destination side (presuming you have already soldered from other side) is that you will trap air in PTH so you have virtually no continuous solder in PTH from one side to other. This will not meet IPC-A
