Chris, To my knowledge the only difference between leaded and lead-free components is the termination plating. What has changed in the component design that makes them resistant to higher temperatures?

Ron, I'm not sure what you are trying to get here. If you want a real price you need to submit RFQ's to some CM's to get real price. As mentioned there are many variables to account for and no single number works across the board. -Jerry

They still make SMT adhesive?!?!?! Holy SMOKES BATMAN. I haven't used SMT adhesive in, oh 9 years. But, back in "The Day", I found loctite to be best. Call your local rep in, show them your process and make them earn their money.

We buy a years worth of the 3M stuff and attatch the cost to a new customer. Guess there could be new and improved stuff out there, but without customer service, who's gonna buy it? Easier to go with what works. What's a "yin"?
