Is there anyone out there with some experience of VioS 1.23 that can assist me with programming some YV100's? I don't want to have to program every board at the VIOS console thats hugely painful/

The IPC-A-610 has the Acceptability requirements and the ANSI/J-STD-001 has the Requirements for soldering. Both deal with the requirements for the individual classes. Both of them are published by IPC and can be purchased in lots of places includ

Kester has a special alloy for high temp soldering. Alloy 123. I would think that if you coocked 63/37 to 360c you would have a pot of dross in no time! Doug

As a sidenote, if nothing of the above works, IPC 610 states that it is accetable (class 1,2,3) for solder to touch a SOT body if it is plastic.
