I use my pick-n-place data to identify feeder problems and vision algorithms that need tweaking. Over a period of time you may be able to get a feel for shrinkage. I have been using 2% for tape and reel parts and 1% for tray and belt (tube) parts.

Hello. We have a low profile LCC on a board. The clearance is ~ 2mils after reflow. Cleaning away residual flux with an ultrasonic 50C water cleaner caused some LCC and 0201 components to loosen. Should we stay away from the ultrasonic cleaner?

Il ne pas de quois. Two most important parameters are: * Solder temperature * Dwell time Immersion depth [1/3 to 2/3 of board thickness] has the least impact of any variable in wave soldering.
