what mfg paste are you having problems with. We went through a time that we had some similar paste problems and looked at a lot of different paste types.

Wolfgang is correct. Copper plating thickness of the via barrel walls is a key question you need to answer to troubleshoot this. Tenting is a red herring.

I'd heard that Alpha did paste reclamation but just assumed they only offered the service for customers using their paste. Hmmmm, it's worth a call, anyway. Thanks for the contact.
