That's a reasonable question for a supplier to ask his / her customer. It depends ... It depends on the materials use in the process the assembly and the reflow temperature recipe

my topside preheat is 97 deg. C and my peak temp. is 230 deg. C with a duration of 4 secs. What would be my Delta ? I suppose 230 minus 97 is equal to 133 deg C...is that right? regards

try Indium Corp's SMQ230. http://ncsmq230.indium.net/ Peak "on board" temps of 229C with good wetting have been obtained.

230C for max 30 sec.". Isn't 225C close enough to 230C, so that you are effectively exceeding mfg spec by 60 sec.?
